Will Having Braces Make My Temporal Muscles Smaller?
Q: Dr. Eppley, I have bad dental occlusion, and I am currently using braces to correct my bite, would this be able to reduce the temporalis muscle of the head? Does malocclusion increase the head muscle?
A:No form of occlusal management or change is going to change the size of the temporalis muscles. Only Botox or temporal reduction surgery can.
