Will Calf Implants Add 2 To 3 Inches?

Q: Dr. Eppley, Do you do calf implants? I was hoping to add 2-3 inches.

A: Double calf implants (inner and outer heads) can have a significant lower leg augmentation effect. But I would be cautious about trying to put a specific circumferential number increase on it as that is not completely predictable and depends on a number of factors including the thickness of the muscle/soft tissues, the size of the implants and the stretch of the soft tissues to accommodate the size of the calf implants.
