How Long Is The Scarring Visible From Mouth Widening Surgery?
Q: Dr. Eppley, I’m interested in 5mm mouth width expansion per side, I was wondering how long it would take for “normal” scarring that usually happens as a trade-off to look acceptable enough to not have it be easily noticeable by other people or distract from the result.
A: Corner of mouth scars generally take 3 to 4 months to mature particularly in intermediate skin pigments.
